The rivalry between India and Pakistan is always there in terms of cricket. While the border issues are never-ending, Indians particularly on the Internet, many share brotherly bond with the neighboring nationalities, Pakistanis are no exception. Unless few cocky tweets and trolls might spark outrage in between the both, everything otherwise remains calm.

Now, this verified Twitter handle of Pakistan Defence has tried to pounce on India, they tried to insult India on the Internet, shared a picture of a girl holding a placard that read, “I am an Indian but I hate India, because India is a colonial entity that has occupied nations such as Nagas, Kashmiris, Manipuris, Hyderabad Junagarh, Sikkim, Mizoram, Goa.”

Though Indians never messed up with Pakistan this way, it is Pakistanis who always comes up with one or other problem.

Coming to the facts, the picture was morphed, and this idea of posting a morphed image with altered content is simply a shameful act by Pakistan Defence. The original picture belongs to Kawalpreet Kaur, a psychology student from the University of Delhi posted the original post in June 2017 against the incidents of mob lynching.

In the original post, she is seen holding a placard which read. “I am a citizen of India and I stand with secular values of our constitution. I will unite against communal mob lynching of Muslims in our country. #CitizensAgainstMobLynching.

And, as soon as the girl in the picture came across the morphed post, she urged the Twitter users to report the account. Noteworthy that it was not the official account of Pakistan Defence Ministry and was just a defense enthusiasts forum website. Later, the verified Twitter account by the name of ‘Pakistan Defence’ was suspended.

Next, to this indecent deed of the Pakistan Defense, Twitter users censured the handle, with several users from Pakistan claiming that even they are fed up with the content in the account in question. Many went reporting the handle for misrepresenting facts and sending a completely negative message against India just before it got suspended officially.

Now, soon after all this was done, Kaur took to Twitter to announce it and said, “The account of @defencepk has been suspended by Twitter for posting my unverified & morphed pictures. Grateful to all who reported it in large numbers. The message of the picture shouldn’t be lost in these dark times. No nation wants lynchings & killings. Only bigots want hate.”

Now, it appears that Pakistan has crossed all the limits in terms of verbal medium, isn’t it? share your opinions in the comments section below.
