Telugu Language Day (Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam) is celebrated on 29 August each year in Andhra Pradesh, India. This date was chosen to coincide with the birthday of the Telugu poet Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy.
Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy was a Telugu writer and one of the earliest modern Telugu linguists and social visionaries during the British rule. Here is a Telugu rap song by Pranav Changanty, which makes every Telugu people proud.
