Stories behind a successful man/woman will always be inspiring because he/she might have faced a load of hurdles and hardships to reach the position they are. One such person is Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka Chopra has always been famous for her looks and especially her acting. Just like Bollywood, Priyanka has also made a mark in Hollywood too; her journey has definitely been an inspiring one.

Remember Priyanka Chopra being crowned Miss India in 2000? During the contest, there took place a funny scene between Priyanka and Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan. SRK is one of the judges of the Miss India pageant. Do you know that Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra have been good friends for a long time? It all started with the Miss India contest 2000.

Well, in the interview round, when a bunch of celebrities was seated to ask the pageant contenders questions, PC had picked a chit that said – Shah Rukh Khan. As we all know SRK is famous for his wit, had a tough question for PeeCee. And here is how Priyanka floored the audience and SRK with her answer.

SRK questioned – “This is rather hypothetical. Who would you rather marry, A great Indian sportsman with all the records in Indian cricket like Azhar (Mohd Azharuddin) Bhai here, who would make their country proud, take you all around the world where you swell with pride Or an artistic businessman with a difficult name to pronounce like Swarovsky who will deck you with jewels and fine necklaces Or a Hindi film star like me who has nothing better to do than to give you complicated, multiple choice questions for a hypothetical wedding like this?”

PC who is equally witty gave a brilliant answer and no wonder, she was crowned Miss India that year.

She said, “If I was to choose one of these very three difficult choices, I think I’d go for a great Indian sportsman, because when I come back home or he comes back home, I will be there to be his support, tell him I’m proud of him just as much as India is, to be able to tell him, ‘Hey, look you did your best and you are the best’. I will take immense pride in my husband who will be of strong character if he can bring so much pride to my country.”
