Shocking !! Tollywood Prince Mahesh Babu Cried


Srimanthudu, one of the much awaited Tollywood movie has released on 7th August 2015. Mahesh Babu played a lead role and Shruti Haasan played a female lead role. The movie is directed by Koratala Siva. For the movie Srimanthudu, Mahesh Babu is getting applauds from all the people for his fantastic performance. But appreciation from his father Krishna who is also an actor made Mahesh Babu emotional.

Mahesh Babu said that,“The last one week has been very special. Everybody has been saying ‘Srimanthudu’ is the best film of my career. After watching the film, dad told me that he’s never seen me perform like this. I just couldn’t stop myself from crying.”

The two films 1-Nenokadine and Aagadu were back to back flops of Mahesh and when he asked how does the actor feel after tasting success after a long time, Mahesh said, “It hasn’t sunk in yet. I think it will take time for me to even cherish this success. More than the monetary success, I was satisfied as an actor. It’s funny there’s a dialogue in the film that goes, ‘Let me also earn my respect’. It feels nice to have earned that.”

He also said in success meet that, “Telugu audience love cinema. They won’t let a good film down and they’ve proved this with the way they accepted Srimanthudu”.

Moreover, Mahesh Babu revealed that Srimanthudu was his first film that his son and daughter saw. “My son Gautham usually doesn’t watch my films. But he watched ‘Srimanthudu’ in the theatre. My daughter Sitara, who is too young to watch films, managed to watch it. She can sing all the songs from the film,” he added.

‘Srimanthudu’ deals with the concept of adoption of villages and it has got a nice social message. In the movie, Mahesh Babu played a role as a rich person guy who adopts a village and how he overcomes the issues related to it forms the rest of the tale. Jagapathi Babu, Rajrndra Prasad played supporting roles. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music.
