Post the sensational news of Snapchat CEO’s comments on India, Shane Warne now rowed up after making some unfair statements on Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Former Australian bowler Shane Warne had recently said that the will not be able to hire him for the post of the head coach since his fees are extraordinarily high.

When Warne was asked why he did not apply for the post, he said that even though he and Virat Kohli share a very good bond, he is ‘too expensive’ for BCCI to afford him.

As expected, this comment didn’t go down well with Indians, one of the Twitter users advised Warne to browse through Wikipedia which says the BCCI is India’s richest sporting body and the richest cricket board in the world. Another user compared Warne to the CEO of Snapchat who had made headlines recently for saying India is a poor country which is why he wouldn’t consider expanding the app in the country.

Coming to the facts, people opined that Warne does not have any international coaching credentials under his belt, which made it true that India itself has many possible people to be appointed as the head coach.

Though there was no official reason for terminating the one-year agreement with Anil Kumble, there are quite a lot of rumors about the relationship between the players and the coach, Kumble walks out of his place right after the completion of Champions Trophy.

One must understand it clearly that Kohli did the best in this span of one year climbing to the No. 1 spot in Test rankings. However, It has been learned that Kumble reapplied for the post on May 31, but like the previous time, he will once again have to appear for an interview ahead of the cricket advisory committee comprising of Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, and VVS Laxman. In all probability, it seems that Kumble will be reappointed as the head coach.

Clearing the clouds of ambiguity, recently Kohli even opened up on his relationship with Kumble, which is certainly as good as it was before. Now, it seems that Kumble will continue as the head coach further after the Champions Trophy.
