But a few days ago, there was a sensational buzz about him saying that Sehwag applied for the job of coach in the cricket team of India and for this, he sent merely a two-line resume.
As per The Indian Express, his resume reads that he is a ‘mentor and a coach of Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League and has played with all these (Indian) boys before’.
Popular news portal in India, The Indian Express even says that they are informed the following by a source in BCCI,
“Sehwag being Sehwag has sent his application in two lines. There was no CV attached to it. We had to ask him to send his CV too along with his application. After all it will be the first time he is set to appear for the interview.”

So the truth is that it was a false news!Sehwag finally himself shattered down all the rumors and this is for the first time that ‘Nawab of Najafgarh’ has spoken up on the matter.
In a recent interview, when a reporter asked him about this viral news, Sehwag rubbished all the rumors and straightly denied sending any two-line resume for the so-called job.
The Nawab of Najafgarh even went on to say that his name would have been “enough” if he wanted to apply for the post with such a short resume. Sehwag added that a CV that was totally in line with the norms of BCCI was sent by him. While interacting with UCWeb, he stated,
“I would be happy to get that two line CV from the media source. If I had to send a two line resume, my name was enough.”
