Official: Rudramadevi Movie Release Date Finally Confirmed


Rudramadevi , the much awaited movie in Tollywood film industry and the first stereoscopic 3D film in India is directed by Gunashekar. The director is well known for lavish films with interesting backgrounds. This movie has started two years back at Thousand Pillars Temple in Warangal and finished the shooting last year and is still doing its post-production work. Nearly 75 crores spent on this movie to make the film a visual feast for film lovers. Recently the director held a press meet to announce the official date as most of the people thinking that to be released in the month of August.

In the press meet Gunashekar announced that the movie Rudramadevi will be released on 4th September 2015. The director also said that, “the post-production work is going on at the moment and the technicians are giving their best to bring out a high-quality output“. Director further said that, “Rudramadevi is a result of three years of hard work of all the cast and crew members “. After thanking Anushka and Rana, the film’s leads, Gunasekhar also lauded Allu Arjun’s performance as Gona Ganna Reddy and said that Bunny’s performance is remarkable in the film.

For the first time in India, a new technology is being employed for Rudramadevi with which 3D movie can be watched without wearing special glasses. Usually, 3D film viewing requires 3D glasses to experience the depth, apart from the usual 2D that comprises of length and breadth of a moving image. However, the movie is expected to release for summer due its post production work it has been postponed.

Rudramadevi is based on the life and legend of Kakatiya warrior princess, Rudramadevi. The title role is played by Anushka and the main cast and crew are Nitya Menon, Rana, Allu Arjun, Prakash Raj, Krishnan Raju. The Music  is directed by Ilayaraja which is already released and getting good response from audience.
