Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc who left the recently concluded India-Australia series mid-way since his foot got fractured. He is now on headlines grabbing all the eyeballs on the internet for his personal message to Indian skipper Virat Kohli, congratulating him for a series win.

But, Twitterati can’t stop making fun of him because Starc didn’t realize that he messaged the wrong Virat Kohli i.e. his parody account.

Yes, Starc ended up in an embarrassing situation after he sent a personal message to wish luck to Kohli (Via DM) and talk to him about few more subjects, but unfortunately, instead of getting delivered in right Virat Kohli Twitter account (@imVkohli), landed up in a parody account (@imVkohIIi). He seems to be too excited for the upcoming IPL season.

Starc is Virat’s IPL Teammate (Royal Challengers Bengaluru) and since his foot is fractured, he asked the Indian cricketer if he will take him back to the team or whether he will have to find a new IPL team.

Twitterati started making fun of Starc when this fake Virat Kohli account posted a screenshot of the message. Take a look at it:

The message read,

“Hey friend ? Hopefully I don’t have to look for a new ipl team?? Haha media hey! Didn’t get a chance to have a proper catch up mate but Congrats on the series win and on your summer personally… I hope that shoulder is on the mend and not too bad. Good luck for the ipl, here’s hoping to an RCB win. Cheers mate.”

Not only this; Virat’s fake account sent a reply clarifying that it was a fan account and not the original one;

As soon as the fake Kohli account uploaded this picture, Twitterati couldn’t stop laughing. Take a look at some of the funny replies this screenshot of Starc’s message received.

Awesome conversation!

Kya ho raha hai ye sab?

Aussies and Indians are friends!

Kohli should see this!

After so many media reports of controversies between Australian and Indian cricketers, this conversation is a delight, isn’t it? It is good to see that they are good friends and have a healthy conversation.

Wonder how Virat will react to this! What’s your take on this? Share your views in our comments section below.
