Abhinav-Hitech College of Engineering (AHTC) B.Tech first year student Mahesh sets  himself on fire in front of college located at Himayatnagar village, C.B. Post, near the famous Chilkur Balaji Temple, Moinabad, Hyderabad. Though the yet any official information and the cause of the suicide hasn’t been revealed. Mahesh has been rushed to the Osmania General Hospital for treatment by the local residents and his friends in an ambulance.

Mahesh who presumed to commit suicide by setting him ablaze is believed to the student of the first year pursuing Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at Abhinav-Hitech College of Engineering (AHTC), Moinabad, Hyderabad. Friends of Mahesh claim that he might have took the extreme step after being denied of issuing final year ending semester examination by the college administration.

Local farmers who rescued Mahesh proclaimed “We found a gamy smell and a man engulfed within fire struggling for aid. Before we reached him to rescue he was almost burnt and rushed to the hospital.” Police have registered a FIR claiming it has suspicious death. Doctors claim that Mahesh has been exposed to 90% burnt injuries. Police have been investigating the case and are searching for reasons behind the extreme step of Mahesh.

Police officers are searching and investigation reasons such as love and college administration pressure or any local fight over the incident. Friends and classmates of the Mahesh claim that Mahesh has group clashes with the fellow students at the same time they disclosed that he had some love affair with a fellow class mate of him at Abhinav-Hitech College of Engineering (AHTC).

Added to this some of the students who had been close to Mahesh claim that he took might have made attempt to suicide after being denied of hall ticket for the semester ending  exams of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. Mahesh hometown is Boothpur village in Mahabubnagar District. Parents of the Mahesh have been informed with the unfortunate incident which took place and they are believed to have started to the city to know where abouts of the their son.

Mahesh who is believed  to be suffering with more than 90 percent of burns is not in a position to make any statement.  Police officer claims that since there are no clear evidences as of now Mahesh statement would be crucial to investigate the case ahead.
