Reliance Jio 4G Sim Cards created a huge hype around the country. People are rushing into Reliance Digital stores and Xpress mini stores to get Jio Sim for free. But after three weeks wait, everyone was frustrated as they didn’t receive their sim cards. On this issue, Reliance opens up their mouth saying that the sims will be door delivered. Yes, what you heard is true.
According to Telecomtalk.info, it is said that Reliance Industries Limited will take online registrations for Jio Sim cards and deliver it to the customer`s doorsteps. “After that, the Jio SIM card would deliver to the applicant’s address in 5-7 days,” the site says.
Since its official launch on 5th September as a “Welcome Offer”, Reliance has been offering its services for free. As the offer announced, Jio users would get unlimited 4G internet, Unlimited SMS, Unlimited Local & STD voice and video calls, no roaming charges, no blackout days etc.
Reliance already started the free Jio Sim home delivery in some selected cities of Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Pune, NCR and Ahmedabad. By extending this free home delivery service, Mukesh is trying to increase their customer acquisition rate.
There are some complaints from the existing Jio customers like call failures and slow internet speed. Reliance is taking steps to provide their best services to customers. They also say that Jio might extend their welcome offer till March 2017.
The plus points about Jio Sim card to which people are getting attracted are, the sim card is free of cost and can access free unlimited data till December 31st, 2016. Jio users can access the Jio apps as well. This app include JioOnDemand, JioBeats, JioPlay, JioMags, JioMoney and many more. In order to get the Jio Sim card you need to submit Id Proof, Address Proof, and Photographs etc. At some outlets, even the Aadhar card itself serves the purpose.
