The anti-corruption bureau of Telangana questioned the TDP MLA Revanth Reddy and two others who have been arrested in a ‘cash-for-vote’ case.
A local court had granted ACB their four-day custody.
“We did the questioning . He (Reddy) cooperated with us. The questioning will continue tomorrow,” a senior official of the anti-graft agency told PTI.
A legal adviser representing the MLA said the officers asked his client questions in the presence of his lawyer (as directed by the court) for two hours.
On May 31, the ACB arrested Reddy for allegedly trying to bribe the nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson to vote for TDP nominee in the Telangana Legislative Council election.
Based on a complaint by Stephenson, ACB officials held Revanth, Sebastian Harry and Uday Simha after they were caught while allegedly handing over Rs 50 lakh to Stephenson.
