We had seen many unpredictable things happened in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2017 in England and Wales. ICC No.1 ranked team South Africa couldn’t make even to the semi-finals and the least ranked team in top 8 Pakistan reached finals of the tournament.
However, the hosts England and Pakistan reached the semi-finals in the group-A and India and Bangladesh in group-B respectively. The undefeated team England in the tournament couldn’t face the young Pakistani bowlers and were defeated by them surprisingly.
And everyone’s eyes are on the second semi-final between India and Bangladesh. As usual, Bangladeshi fans could not be calm and exhibited their photoshop skills on the social media by degrading team India.
Earlier, before the match, we had seen the Bangladeshi fans made a picture of Tiger chasing a dog. In the picture, the dog was seen with Indian flag and Tiger with Bangladesh flag on it. This made India blast at the Bangladeshis for indecency and giving no respect to other teams.
However, team India won the match against Bangladesh comfortably and reached the finals of Champions Trophy to face Pakistan. Meanwhile, the Bangladeshi fans did it again. They posted a derogatory meme insulting team India Captain Virat Kohli on Facebook. And the picture has gone viral on social media in no time.
During the match, in the 36th over of Bangladesh innings, Kedar Jadhav bowled a full toss to Bangladesh batsman Mushfiqur Rahim; he lofted the ball and it was caught by Indian skipper Kohli. The celebrations of taking a wicket were started by the Indian team but Virat Kohli celebrated it in a different manner by taking his tongue out.
The fans of Virat Kohli just loved it but a Bangladeshis once again tried to insult the Indian skipper by comparing him to a dog.
Virat played wonderful innings by scoring 96* and reach the finals of his first ICC tournament as the Captain. He had been in good form throughout the tournament and changing a lot, adapting to the situation as the skipper.
But, these things from fans need to be changed, isn’t it? We all know that winning is important in a game but Bangladeshis should remember that by posting such mean stuff, they are showcasing their stupid attitude and lack of sportsmen spirit which is quite necessary for any sport.
