Balakrishna Gets Court Notices from Lok Adalat


Nandamuri Balakrishna, Tollywood Actor cum Politician got court notices. Lok Adalat court issues notices to Hindupur MLA, Balayya for not responding to the people’s problems.

Hindupur Assembly constituency is a constituency of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, India. It is one of 14 constituencies in Anantapur district. It is part of the Hindupur Lok Sabha constituency along with another six Vidhan Sabha segments, namely, Raptadu, Madakasira, Penukonda, Puttaparthi, Dharmavaram and Kadiri in Anantapur district.

Balakrishna won in the elections held in 2014 and became MLA of Hindupur. Now he is not responding to people vow in his constituency. Lok Aadalat court serves notices to Balakrishna along with Lakshmi, who is the Municipal Chair-Person and Municipal Commissioner, Veerabhadra Rao. The notices are sent regarding the issue of Hindupur Bypass Road.

In the year 1993, a master plan was framed for road extension from Hindupur bypass road to Penukonda road. However, so far this has not been taken and no one is responding on the above issue. Lok Adalat felt that people’s representatives have failed to address the issues of his own constituency people. For that reason, the court has issued notices which said that all the three should be present at the court on 1st August, 2015.

In a recent survey published by media house showed actor turned Hindupur MLA as the worst MLA on the parameters of his availability to his people. The survey was about how many MLAs are not available to people of their respective constituencies. And Balayya was top in the list.
